Let’s get rid of the idea that someone has to talk to you 24/7 to like you or even love you. I know how it feels to want to talk to someone all day but life takes different turns. Patience.

i have BPD too and this thought process was my downfall lol. i have been in multiple unhealthy relationships and have been miserable bc of this! OP isnt making a radical statement- this is true! it took me years to realize that someone doesnt need to talk to me 24/7 to like me. in fact, they have their OWN life and are allowed to have other friends and its unhealthy to expect them to dedicate all of their time to me.
i would get so angry when my favorite person wasnt talking to me but now i realize its unfair to both of us to expect them to be able to talk all the time. and yep, this site made it seem like me begging this person to talk to me constantly and get angry at them for having a life is normal and healthy. it isnt! it isnt “neurotypical” to let people have their own lives. its still hard for me! but you can ask for reassurance and remind yourself that its not healthy to expect someone to be able to talk to you 24/7. its hard, i know, but stop saying healthy behaviors are “neurotypical” and stop normalizing unhealthy behaviors that often can turn abusive (yes, getting pissed off at your partner for having a life or talking to people that arent you IS emotionally abusive behavior)
I am getting most of my updates via Twitter from citizens and their families within Marawi. The news networks are either downplaying what is going on or barely covering it at all. Citizens have also been told to stop talking about whats going on and what is currently happening via social media. Some info on Twitter may or may not be true but I am following those who are currently living there, searching through their tweets on what’s going on and their updated photos and videos. The information below however has been confirmed by CNN Philippines and through interviews with residents.
At the moment the fire at Dansalan College has been put out but burn marks and fallen debris surround the college. Three buildings of the college have been burned down.
Citizens of Marawi are now currently trying to escape the city to safety during the morning hours. Some are walking with injured, others are driving. Some have been stopped by the terrorists in certain points of the city but have been released and let through.
One teacher that has been held hostage has been rescued.
Gunfire is still being heard by residents. Many are stating that they still see no government military presence in many parts of the city.

As I write this post, Marawi City in the Philippines is being besieged, burned, and taken over by ISIS factions.
Colleges are being burned Firetrucks have been overtaken Hospital staff are hostages Women are being taken Soldiers are being shot at Some have already been critically injured Exits are being blocked
(ATM. WE ARE NOT OKAY HERE!! Let’s be true and not fool the media about what’s happening atm to our place. There are things burning in the town and we’re not hearing any Fire truck sirens or what. And now lights are out and were hearing gunshots again. May God be with us through this hardships.)

This is not ISIS. This is the MAUTE GROUP. They are not an ISIS group. They are supporters. Im sorry but please label properly. It takes the attention away from the real murderers (yes I know ISIS are murderers but they are not directly responsible for the ongoing attack). PLEASE PRAY FOR MARAWI.

This happened on my grandmothers farm when my mom was little,
baby ducks act a lot like baby chickens so in the beginning it wasn’t so bad
the main problem is that baby ducks LOVE water, but baby chickens get very very dead from it,
so you can imagine the mother hens surprise and horror the first time they go by the farm pond and ALL THE BABIES RUN TO THE WATER AND JUMP IN
my grandmother had to come out of the house to investigate all the noise the hen was making
The mother hen was clucking and screeching in distress and running circles around the pond while the duckies were having the time of their lives.
This happened a few more times before Momma hen was like FUCK IT YOU WANNA SWIM SEE WHAT I CARE , and would sit a distance away watching them in the pond.
if the ducks ever abandoned any eggs my grandmother would always put it under that particular hens nest cause from then on she always knew how to deal with her “water loving” delinquent children
